The Blair Medical Associates Laboratory is located at the Station Medical Center.

The Blair Medical Associates Laboratory Services take pride in our professional approach to patient results and accuracy in the testing process. Every precaution is taken in assuring accurate patient results. Helping to maintain and improve the health of our patients and community is our number one goal.

The Blair Medical Laboratory is an independent clinical laboratory. We service Blair Medical Associates physicians along with other outside physicians and medical entities. In the case of outside physician orders, patients must hand-carry these orders to us and have coverage under their insurance to utilize Blair Medical Associates collection and processing services.

The Blair Medical Associates laboratory Quality Assurance Plan provides policies and procedures designed to monitor and evaluate the overall quality of the testing process, preanalytical, analytical, and postanalytical.

Blair Medical Associates lab has state of the art laboratory equipment. Every piece of lab equipment has controls run daily. Any out of control situations must be resolved immediately before any patient testing is performed.

The Laboratory is directed by a Board certified Physician. Our lab consists of licensed Medical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Certified Laboratory Assistants, phlebotomists, and medical assistants. We are CLIA certified and licensed by the State of Pennsylvania Department of Health. The lab participates in the College of American Pathologists (CAP), a proficiency testing program, which test our personnel as well as our testing procedures. We must maintain consistent and acceptable performance in order to maintain our licensure and certification.
