An Endocrinologist is a specialist who deals with and treats diseases dealing with glands whose function is to secrete a substance into blood that has a specific effect on another body part. Patients needing the care of an Endocrinologist are frequently referred by their primary care physician. Endocrinologists take care of a wide variety of general endocrine disorders including:

- Thyroid
- Bone Metabolism
To ascertain and treat these types of illnesses, Endocrinologists will use a variety of diagnostic and laboratory testing which may include:
